Robert Half is looking for a Senior Accountant with previous experience to fill an open position at a respected Manufacturing company. You will be responsible for preparing and consolidating financial statements, analyzing and reconciling accounts, analyzing cash flow, creating budgets and forecasts, preparing audits, and managing internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. The role requires superb analytical skills, and the work environment is challenging and fast-paced. You will also have the chance for growth.Responsibilities- Strong interest in continuously improving the automation of the accounting and reporting process- Supply Balance Sheet account reconciliations- Produce monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management purposes- Delegate resources to Ad-hoc projects as necessary- Aid in coordinating quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external auditors- Work with business partners to ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures and controls and provide support on special requests- Participate in various department-wide initiatives- Prepare financial analysis on trends, performance metrics, benchmarks, etc.- Provide monthly accounting closure procedures and deliverables, which includes journal entries, reconciliations, reports in compliance with GAAP
